It offers easy and challenging trekking opportunities that offer the best views of the Himalayas and unite ethnic groups and their traditional cultures. There is a possibility to make the trekking shorter or longer, easier or more difficult, depending on the wishes of the trekkers.

Trekking in the Annapurna region takes you through traditional Hindu and Buddhist villages. On most trekking routes you will find oak and rhododendron forests where the sound of birds fills the air. During the trek you will discover something new at every turn, and almost every day you will witness dramatic views of the Himalayan Mountains.

Trekking in Annapurna region, you can see not only Annapurna mountain, but also Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Machhapuchhre, Manaslu, Lamjung and other beautiful snow-capped mountains in the region. The valley of Kali Gandaki River runs between Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains and is the deepest valley on earth. Annapurna trekking combines lush green, fertile agricultural land with undivided natural forest cover and a mix of diverse ethnic inhabitants.

There are mainly two best seasons for trekking in Annapurna region: pre-monsoon (February, March, April, and May) and post-monsoon (September, October, November, and December). However, most treks in the Annapurna region can be done at any time of the year.
